The TP-Link Omada EAP783 is a BE22000 ceiling mount tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point built for demanding business networks. Combining a clear 6 GHz band, 320 MHz channel bandwidth, Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 2 10G Ethernet ports, the EAP783 delivers the high throughput and low latency needed for offices, hospitals, retail spaces and other busy environments.

With combined tri-band speeds of 11520 Mbps on 6 GHz, 8640 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, plus four-stream 4×4 MU-MIMO, the EAP783 is designed to unlock the full potential of Wi-Fi 7. It integrates with the Omada SDN platform, so you can manage access points, switches and gateways from a single interface, either on-site or remotely via the cloud.

Key Features

  • BE22000 tri-band Wi-Fi 7: 11520 Mbps on 6 GHz + 8640 Mbps on 5 GHz + 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz
  • 2 10G Ethernet ports to unlock the full potential of Wi-Fi 7, with support for link aggregation (LAG)
  • Clear 6 GHz band for cleaner, wider channel resources
  • 320 MHz bandwidth, 4K-QAM and Multi-RUs for more simultaneous transmissions

FAQs

What is the power requirement of the EAP783?
It needs 802.3bt class PoE or a 12V DC power supply to be fully functional.

Why do the EU and US versions have different power requirements?
Regulations differ between Europe (CE) and America (FCC), so the maximum transmit power (EIRP) differs, and US versions generally consume more power.

What is the Bluetooth module used for?
Currently no features require Bluetooth. The module would be used when new features need its support.

Can my Wi-Fi 6E devices connect to the 6 GHz Wi-Fi of a Wi-Fi 7 access point?
Yes. Wi-Fi 6E devices can connect to the 6 GHz band, with or without MLO enabled, but they cannot use Wi-Fi 7 features such as 4K-QAM, 320 MHz channel width or MLO.

Can I enable both Power Save triggering methods?
Yes. Time-based triggering takes priority, and frequency-based triggering takes over beyond the set time.
